“Carousel that fit in an envelope” was the brain child of Yang.  And the man behind its illustration is Lester Lim.  The artwork was painstakingly hand drawn, resulting several iteration before its final form.   

Brief biograpghy of the artist - Lester Lim

Born with a passion for art and design, Lester studied at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and later worked as a graphic designer, illustrator and art director. Driven by his passion for design, Lester co-founded gagatree in 2006. He is currently working on a book that showcases his unique sense of design.

China base lifestyle magazine, m.style (April issue 14) reports: “The leather journal brand CIAK, has arrived in Shanghai to hold its third Asia exhibition tour (29 March - 12 April 2008) after its round in Hong Kong and Singapore last year.  Together, designers from Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore, put up some impressive illustration of ideas onto the CIAK journals that depicts the exhibition title - My CIAK, My Creation…”
